“I was born with a paint brush in my hand” states Maggie.

She was fearless. Since early childhood years she knew her likes and dislikes….and she was very direct about it. In a kindergarten painting class Maggie was encountered by a teacher who asked: “Gosiu (her birth name), it is beautiful, but all children are painting green grass and yours is red. Why is that?” Maggie looked at her with such surprised and quite astonished look on her face and replied with conviction,“ because I like it this way.” Nobody could take away her freedom of expression. Not in her world

It was pretty apparent back then that Maggie was a ‘lone wolf’ who would follow her own unique path despite any social influences and expectations. So the journey began….

The path has been difficult at times.  Maggie’s determination and self confidence has been tested, but she persevered and has created a successful and rewarding life and career.
